Japanese Army Felt Combat Cap Variation
A WWII Japanese Army felt combat cap, issued from 1937–1940 and often worn through the end of the war. These were used alongside the wool caps but were phased out for unknown reasons. Two variations exist: an early type with a separately sewn felt bill, and a later type formed from a single blocked piece including the bill. Most examples are heavily mothed, but this one remains in very good condition.
