Japanese Navy Type III Seamens Combat Cap

Japanese Navy Seamens Type III Cap. Later war Type III (green) combat cap with earlier Type I insignia. Late war manufacturers used surplus Type I insignia ( yellow anchor on black) due to supply shortages. The cap is heavily worn and faded with no holes but has minor fraying at end of visor. No arsenal label is visible on interior, most like the stamped tag is faded out.
